分散式的RAID热备盘 RAID 5S and RAID 10S
常见的RAID热备技术需要指定特定的磁盘作为热备盘,如存储存储存在6块硬盘,可以组成4D+1P+1Hot Spare的形式。
RAID 5S则不设置特定磁盘为热备盘,而是将热备磁盘的分散到每一块磁盘中,如图所示
上图中在激活的磁盘中有4中类型的RAID
- RAID C 是用来存储存储配置的类型,分布在每一块磁盘中。
- RAID 5S and RAID 10S 有一个分布的热备块。
- RAID 6 replaces the option for ‘double redundant’ LUNs as two drives can fail in the array before redundancy is degraded. When a drive fails, some drives strips will copy, some will rebuild and some will just become spares
按图所示,分布的热备磁盘raid5s 依然可以存在同时坏2块硬盘的情况,对应的RAID组状态如下
RAID Level Status
- Normal – Online with Full Redundancy 正常状态
- Degraded Warning – Online with Partial Redundancy 一块磁盘故障
- Degraded Critical – Online with No Redundancy 两块磁盘故障
- Failed – Offline RAID组故障
